Typing a to-do list is a small act of admin. Writing one is just thinking. NoteEight is built around that: every row is a strip of paper for your Apple Pencil, and the handwriting is the record, not a rough draft that gets converted and thrown away.
It reads your writing
Each row is recognised as you go, so you can search your lists and read them back as text. Type a correction and it stays, and recognition never overwrites what you've written by hand.
A real list underneath
Tick things off, drag them into order, set priorities and due dates, and filter by any of them. Completed rows file themselves away; deleted notes sit in the bin for 30 days.
Scribble now, sort later
Write a whole page in one go and split it into separate tasks afterwards. NoteEight finds the lines, cuts them into rows, and reads each one.
Your lists, on any screen
Sign in at app.noteeight.com to see your notes in a browser, handwriting and all. Edits move both ways while you work: change something on the web and it appears on the iPad without you doing anything.
Syncing is a choice, per note
Notes stay on your iPad until you switch syncing on for one. Nothing is uploaded by default, and turning syncing off for a note removes it from the server again.
